Harry & Meghan jumping on the bandwagon and threatening to withdraw their podcast from Spotify.

Withdraw it then H&M and see if anyone notices. Hopefully Spotify have now remembered that they have paid you a load of cash and got very little back in return.

Well, if they believe in vaccinations they should say so. For sure, Meghan has no problem with a little prick.

Not quite sure what to make of the Whoopi Goldberg furore but it is clear that sanctimony is a dangerous game to play.

I’m not sure that sanctimony comes into this. She said the Holocaust wasn’t racist because it was something happening between two groups of white people. So pointing out that the Nazis were doing their best to eliminate the Jewish race seems an essential response to me.

She waded into an argument convinced she occupied the moral high ground .

That sounds like sanctimony to me.

I don't think she was trying to trivialise the holocaust but if you are going to call out others then you have to make sure you don't get tripped up by your own lack of knowledge.

I believe this came up as a result of the ADL in the US (Jewish advocacy group) changing their definition of racism on their website that it could only be directed at non-white people by white people. So Whoopi was probably just trying to be a good soldier, albeit in a demented and ridiculous way. The ADL have since taken down this new 'definition'.
