I just heard on the radio that a paedophile has been spared prison, the main reason being that he might lose his job(The poor thing). He had downloaded hundreds of thousands of images, some being the most serious and sickening out there. Some involving the graphic rape of babies and toddlers. WTF. It's not yet known whether he has abused any children, but even if he hasn't, it's certainly on his mind and turns him on. And if sicko's didn't watch this stuff, less kids would suffer this sickening abuse.
Meanwhile, a woman in Ireland was given a four month prison sentence, with two months suspended, because she opened a bag of crisps in a store she was banned from. What is going on?

In general or because of the damp weather?. Reason I ask this is my 'other half' has it in her hand joints, which give her more grief during winter months, & when rain is prominent.
When we go to Florida each year, from the moment she gets off the plane, till she gets back here, all the discomfort disappears due to the heat & humidity.

No idea. It has come on since I started cycling to work but I don't think that is the cause. I need to hit the gym hard and strengthen the muscles.

I cycle a lot and have never had problems. The only thing that has changed is that I am carrying a heavier rucksack.

I sympathise, I have it in both knees, both big toes and my right shoulder. Mine is being particularly troublesome at the moment from having kicked a stair on the staircase while trying to keep my slipper on and jarring the whole toe - it's been really painful as a result, resulting in a limp while walking, which isn't helping my knees!

At the risk of sounding stupid, that's not compressing the saddle further is it? effectively dropping the saddle height a touch ?

The saddle is a fairly hard mountain bike saddle so I doubt it is compressing much. I wear flat mountain bike shoes rather than cleats.

That letter is for real. It's from Ron Hurrell, my old metal work teacher from school days. He's pretty well known for letters of the kind he has launched this time and a regular writer to the Echo. He was ok as a teacher but total bollox as a centre half when we played the teachers, maybe he should have been a right winger. I 'decked him' several times in the match (legally).
