On another rant...

Mrs Mattitouk..............Grrrrrr!!!.

She has all gear but no idea,

She said back in mid November lets send a "care package" to my brother in Perth, Australia.(.. For the record we never do Xmas!!... Ever!!)

Stupidly I went along with it, as you do.... She brought coffee and Cadbury's chocolate & a Disney doll for the daughter.

She messages the family, saying "merry Christmas" "package on its way"... presuming i will send it...... Then buggered off to Glasgow for work for a week....it gets worse.......it turns out the "care package" is melting next to the radiator and when i took it to take it to the post office, it will cost me £110 to send!!... The contents are only about £30.!!

Er, can't you buy that stuff in Oz?

Yeah you can, but it costs a bloody fortune apparently. You have to go to a "foreign store" to get proper English treats, like marmite (apparently vegimite is not the same?), proper strong cheese or decent chocolate.

I would happily give you my brothers number to hear his usual rant (for about 2 hours) about struggling to get Brussels Sprouts in the height of summer on Christmas Eve.

FYI.... Don't start him on bacon rashers!!.... Bacon in Australia looks like that pre-made **** that you get in Tesco's that you put in sandwiches.

I am pretty sure I saw things like this happen at my school in the 80s. Admittedly there was no racial element.

Unless a teacher sees an incident then I imagine most bullying goes under the radar.

Prevent is not a bullying issue, its a tad more high level than that. and its a recent directive .

Correct. It's

Whats making you angry today?

It cant be worse than a £110 melted crap gift set to Australia, and a bad sandwich for lunch??

If you feel so strongly about it why didn't you?
Crowd funding isn't my thing. Never donated or set one up for anyone I know, let alone for a complete stranger.

I do have sympathy for any victim of crime, but don't feel obliged to give them money.

Apart from donating to ex-servicemen charities I don't generally donate to any of these causes.

Trying to edit a module on AI, which I don't understand, from an author whose first language isn't English, from 140 pages to 30.

I did not think Oz allowed any sort of food stuffs to be imported and they are normally confiscated at the airports or sorting offices?

Sadly (for me) they do.

It's needs to be all pre-packaged or freeze dried these days.

I can't even get him an e-liquid for his vape!!
