****as, suppose that's makes you responsible for the clean-up?
I live near Gusted Hall in Hawkwell & people are always fly tipping in an otherwise lovely peaceful area cos they can't be f*ck'n bothered to pay for a skip or go to the tip, better to push it off the back of a lorry eh?

Some tool dumped an industrial sized cistern packed full of broken glass & ceramic tiles down our lane last week, I'd like to wring their fat chavvy necks.
They don't realise, or more likely care that someone has to live with their selfish bastadness.
Hope you get it sorted with minimal hassle.

Been in recent discussions with my local councillors about the state of the streets. Filthy. People just chuck things cans bottles paper on to ther ground. The dog **** in the bags then tossed really gets me. We went of a recent ramble near great Wakering. Filthy.
The only answer is capital punishment. I'll pull the lever myself.

Totally on the nail there.
Tell you what they should do is have a dog warden patrolling well known hot spots & any moron caught flinging dog poo bags on the verges, up trees (wtf?!) or letting their canine defecate on public land should have their dog taken off them.

Sure, it's not the dogs fault, but if you can't be responsible you shouldn't have a dog, don't make it everyone else's problem.

But of course its all cutbacks, so due to "rising costs", "not seen to be cost effective", "not in the public interest" blah bl00dy blah, makes me sick.

On a slightly different note, last summer some guy (a big orange, body building type) had a Rottweiler off the leash by Hockley woods (near me), the bleeder got hold of my neighbours elderly cat sleeping on the lawn & nigh-on ripped it to bits. The poor puss died in its owners arms & the dog owner just ambled off like nothing had happened, to this day he still lets his hellhound off the leash.
I have total contempt for a$$hurls like this.

Good news in the bad news thread but the asbestos chap thinks the dumped stuff is plasterboard. Still a cost to remove but not as huge one.

That means nothing to me...

Anyway, I'm flying from Salzburg

I had to divert out of Saltzburg due to an accident and ended up following a road beside the Danue river back to Germany. You say it's clean, I saw a council worker removing a empty bin bag out of a bin and replacing it with a new one. Now that's being clean.

We have cycling lockers here to store people's cycling gear which have always had a certain "aroma" but when I went in there today the stink was enough to raise the dead. Truly puke inducing.

Have an away day "team bonding" bollocks day on Friday (and having to stay overnight Thursday) with people I can't even bear to be in a lift with. Urgh.
