You could set a new trend at Roots Hall with this little navy number:smiles:

Ha! That would get you quite a hefty fine at the beach in Cannes atm.

Returning to the comments about annoying use of English language - since when did "Can I get a....?" become the correct way to ask for a drink/food in a shop, pub or restaurant, as in, "Can I get a decaff, skinny latte?"

Watched two female athletics pundits commenting on Usain Bolt's win on Breakfast TV. One of them managed to use 'youknow' double figure times in the space of a few minutes. As it happens, I didn't know. I despair at the use and abuse of the English language at times, youknow?

You said his country which of course is Scotland. That's why certain people will always be anti Murray. Of course he didn't help himself with his England comments in the past

A joke, made when he was 19.

People who still slate Murray for that need to have a word with themselves.

This old chestnut? A comment he made, off camera, as a joke to Tim Henman when he was 19 and then reported by a scumbag journalist as "truth".

He's a model professional an incredible athlete and one of the greatest tennis players this world has ever seen and I'm privaleged to see him win Olympic titles and Grand Slams, 'cos there ain't anyone Scottish/Welsh/Northern Irish or even English anywhere near him.

He was a callow youth when he said such things; these last few years he has carried himself with some dignity and respect.
FWIW I agree with MK and people need to move on and live in the present as regards maturing/growing young persons. I expect those same people would be surprised if they checked their ancestry or remember things they spouted about in their youth.

Before you go down your usual 'crusade' route. I couldn't care less about Murray or the fact he is Scottish.

I am privileged to have never watched any of the sports that should not be in the Olympics. Such as Tennis, golf or Football.

Good for you, I couldn't give a ****. There's not enough sport at the Olympics, they should all be there including tennis, golf & football.
