Oh come on, spotting that a cyclist isn't wearing a helmet hardly counts as breaking ones concentration!

We get some right loons on bikes near my office in Camden, but to be fair the ones I'm thinking of have probably got bigger issues in their lives than whether or not they've got the right hi-vis gear....

Pedestrians walking out in to the street while glued to their phone screens is an increasing menace too, and that's for everyone - cyclists, drivers, even other pedestrians.

There are a lot if bad cyclists out there but the number of motorists not concentrating due to mobile phones is mid boggling.

Absolutely, see it every day, several times a day. Are people arrogant, oblivious or just plain stupid?

The chances of being caught seem to be a far greater concern than the dangers to other road users.
Hence speeding on roads when there are no fixed cameras , using phones etc.

Driving in bus lanes, which is primarily a traffic movement issue as opposed to road safety, is a rare occurrence because it is generally camera enforced and highly likely that you will get caught.

A large number of road users are very insular.

This doesn't help either:

Couldn't agree more. Pootling along in the outside lane of the M1 at 60mph while checking one's phone is a particularly popular **** move round these parts.

Kind of connected to the last few posts on this thread....

As a taxi driver in Southend I see far more bad motorists than cyclists. Use of indicators, illegal parking and use of phone are the main issues. As for cyclists its when they want to cycle at night without light or proper high viz clothes that bother me.

People who come into the office when they are ill, coughing every minute and spreading their germs. You're not impressing anyone with your commitment, you're just annoying the people around you. Stay at home, or work from home.

My firm has a policy of 10 days per annum on full day sick leave, anything more is unpaid. Yes, I will come in if I have to...

So, what with half term coming up I thought the fam may fancy a trip to Warwick Castle.

£54 with no reduction for a 4yr old.

We got an offer via LittleBird last Easter for a family ticket to the castle and 1 night B&B in the Holiday Inn in Redditch and the whole thing was less than that. Worth keeping an eye on LB...
