Not as though I'm ever going to go, but Adull headlining Glastonbury?

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks she's terrible. Overhyped screamer! Her bond theme song was the worst ever, well until Sam Smith's attempt. Shame because everything else about Skyfall was excellent.

Women of a certain age, gin and misery sums her up. She's everything that Glastonbury shouldn't be - but the other headliners are as equally as dull. Eavis sold out many, many years ago.

Glastonbury is becoming like V festival. Used to be about the music now its just about a bunch of bellends getting ****ed. I remember V had a great line up one year which had Foo Fighters as a headline!! Now they have people like Eminem as headliners.

Yeah. Daughter brought this cold into the house and shared it around. The wife hasn't got out of bed in two days so although the fags don't help its not completely down to them.

Hot beachams lemon, add some ginger spice and a few tea spoons of manuka honey and you will be right as rain in two days. The honey isn't cheap but is worth getting rid of the cold surely?

So we're encouraged to back our data up to the server regularly and so after a colleague's laptop died and IT wiped his hard drive before recovering valuable files (because they're morons), I did just that on Friday and backed up about 4Gb.

Get an email this morning telling me I'd gone over my quota by 2Gb. World Class

The trouble with having my kitchen "done" 15 years ago is that it needs doing again now. In the last two weeks the seals on the main oven went (£50) , the fridge freezer (£350) and yesterday the dishwasher (£300).
Strangely the kitchen is being refurbed (planned 3 mths ago) next month (by a local SUFC fan run firm!); but the extra 700 smackers is a hard knock.
All Bosch appliances..............do they have self destruct on 15 years? and so waiting for the washing machine, drier, m/wave to go wrong now.:'(

I am a Bosch man and have had no problems at all.

I can't quite stretch to Miele but if I could I would.

You can't beat German white goods.

Got told a great story about Bosch. About 20 years ago they wanted to build a huge plant in Russia. Russia agreed to supply the land free of charge so the top brass went over for a viewing. They were flown over the proposed site which was nothing but dense forest roughly 150 miles from any civilivation, no roads, no nothing. The Russians expexted all the infrastucture to be put in at the expense of Bosch. The estimated cost would have bankrupt them.

They didn't bother.

Funny. We have the same. Our kitchen has lasted 11 years, although lasted is an exaggeration: it started to fall apart pretty much as soon as the workmen left. We then called the company to fix a whole load of issues. They did, but that didn't do a whole lot.

Since then I've replaced the hinges on almost all of the doors, replaced the kitchen tap (yes, I did it myself), put doors back on where they've fallen off, added extra screws to compensate for cracks in the carcasses, replaced the dishwasher (yes I did that myself too), and had a plumber remove the waste disposal that had been plumbed in wrong in the first place. We've also had our washing machine repaired countless times.

We agreed next time the washing machine goes we would replace it. That was about two months ago, and it has gone again, but we've now agreed not replace it just yet (we've found a way to keep it going). The reason is because we've just been given planning permission to completely gut the downstairs. We're turning the kitchen and lounge into a kitchen diner, turning the dining room into a lounge, moving the downstairs toilet to where the utility room is, moving the utility room into where part of the kitchen is, moving the staircase (yikes) to widen the current kitchen, extending the front door 3m forward to square off the front and create a nice big hallway, we're also closing the archway between the family room and the kitchen and creating a new door. We're also putting in a log burner (or gas fire) in the new lounge. (I also want a Sonos system installed throughout with surround sound in the lounge...)

When all that is done we'll get all new appliances, including washing machine.

Agreed, although our washing machine that keeps going wrong is a Bosch. However, I think the reason it keeps breaking is because my wife massively overloads it.
