Friggin' awful feeling. Dear old Twink (mother of Shooey The Wondercat *on Facebook*) died the morning after we lost to Morecambe. Shi'ite w/e.

Yeah, lost Chaz and Cherie (better known as Ron and Reggie to the neighbours) in March. Both getting on a bit but that doesn't make it any easier.

Just heard the pub I was planning to watch the game at is showing Barça's game against Deportivo (same KO time).:'(

Looks like I'll just have to watch on the net.

I've had 4 people asking me for small change of late....I don't carry coins and I felt terrible this morning when a teenager asked me for 50p near the bus stops, no doubt to get home. If I had it, I would have given it to him.

The person on Saturday at Harrow got a bit more lucky.....!

I have often seen adverts for the Colchester Military Tattoo. Finally decided to get some tickets for this year only to be greeted with the Web Headline Britain's biggest military festival axed after becoming latest victim of budget cuts . That's what happens when too many people vote Tory. Bollocks, I was really looking forward to it.

I bet of lot of you will be ****ed off seeing the news about the Rail strikes. The RMT are not messing about. :stunned:

Will this eventually lead to another go at privatising NetWork Rail MK? It is privatising's turn this time round isn't it?

Well allegedly we are a branch of the civil service and a not-for-profit company. NR has mahooosive debts (£30Bn) and who would want to buy them?

If NR keep striking you may find out sooner than expected. If the profitable bits were correctly parcelled up I bet they would sell like hotcakes............that sounds an awful lot like last time though!

Back at work after going away for half term.

Spent a week with temperatures in the 30s and actually reaching 46C on Wednesday. And then I come home to rain rain and more rain, followed by work.

As you can see I'm currently in a great mood.

taxi has gone to the garage due to oil in the water cylinder should take a couple of days to fix, and to make matters worst I have no chocolate in the house.
