Rural Broadband.

On our Easter hols.in Cebazan (France).Got a cheap broadband deal (10 euros a month )with Free.Reception is fantastic for watching HD Brit TV live (or on catch up)but useless for good old fashioned surfing of sites like The Guardian or SZ.

What hacked me off for most of this week was the very non-spring like weather in South Wales. It was like a ****ing gale force tornado for most of it.

Porthcawl beach looks gorgeous, but not when you're being blown to kingdom come. :nope:

So a family gets a £1,230 bill with Bailiffs for taking their boy out of Sweyne Park School in Rayleigh, and on a five day holiday. That's all very well, but a lot of the local travellers not only have their children out of school for many more days than five at a time, but also miss more than half the term and take them out of school completely at the age of 14 or over when the boys help on their dads trade (Cough, cough), and the females stay at home and do housework. They don't get fines, and no Bailiffs sent around, and no prison for the parents. But you or me do it, and we're bang in trouble.
