My neighbour at the back appears to have put some decking in, which means you can see his head and shoulders above the fence between our gardens. His answer to this is to put some bamboo screening along the part of the fence where the decking is - which is half the length to our garden. From our side it looks absolutely rubbish, and affords us absolutely zero privacy as our garden is not very deep, and is lower than theirs anyway. This is the same fence that he replaced some months back without putting the concrete gravel boards in first, so they're sitting on earth (with random gaps) underneath, apart from the one that he's cut so it sits over the remains of the cut down tree!

The thing that hacks me off is stupid game shows like Take Me Out (No Likey, It's $hite-y), and other ITV 'talent' shows where the opeople taking part say they are from Essex. They never ever name the town so they can be stereotyped. When people are from Guildford they never say "and I am from Surrey" or "I am from Lancashire" if they come from Blackpool.

Have you considered putting a match to it when your neighbours are out?

Currently suffering with the world's worst cold. At least I've brought my laptop home so I can work from here...

Feel awful though.

why you worried unless you going at it in the garden?

Ignoring the smuttiness, our garden is lower than theirs anyway and my daughter likes to sunbathe out there and I do potter about in the garden in the summer too. It's intrusive.

Went for a run around Regents Park today, which included a circuit of the 'Inner Circle'. I now can't get the song 'Sweat (A La La La La Long)' out of my head.

Hopefully, neither can you now.

Thankfully, I have never heard of it but if I start la la la ing some time soon then I will hunt you down.
