What have you watched on TV?

I really liked Freddie. Such a nice guy. I suppose he was too nice to ever win that. He was crumbling when he was trying to lie about speaking to Minah lol

Saw a couple of Neil Dimamond shows on BBC4 last night .A live show from 1971 & ND at the BBC.Never been a fan I'm afraid .Probably doen't help before KO at Espanyol home games they play his Sweet Caroline.Cringe-making:Sure it goes down well on TV in China & Vietnam though. :Winking:

Quite enjoyed Brian & Maggie last night on C4-though I was never a fan of the latter in real life.I do however like Steve Coogan & director Stephen Frears.

For the Love of Dogs, featuring Pete Wicks, filmed at Basildon Dogs' Trust last summer. Four part series on U & W.

If you're ever going to change your impression of someone, then give this a go. I'm sure many of us have a pre-conceived idea of what Pete Wicks is like, but Strictly went some way to changing that opinion, and this finishes it off.

He is such a gentle, caring man with a heart that falls in love with every single one of the dogs that he comes across at the Dogs' Trust, and his presenting on this programme is reflective of this. A really genuinely heart warming programme.

Amandaland on BBC1 last night. Didn't watch it's predecessor Motherland so wasn't sure what to expect but very pleasantly surprised. Can't remember the last time I laughed out loud at a tv prog. And with La Lumley playing her mother - great pairing.... Lead actress Lucy Punch shows great comic timing.

Going to start that tonight. You should watch Motherland, it's fantastic.

Just started watching RED OAKS on Amazon Prime - a 2014 US comedy series set in 1985 about a bunch of college kids working at an upmarket country club. I read a review that said it's not a mere homage to 1980s teen comedy, it's an extension of it, and that it feels like John Hughes and Harold Ramis could have been consulted on the series, which is pretty much bang on. If you love your '80s US teen comedy, then this is a must see.
