What have you watched on TV?

Saw What happened at Auschwitz Last night on BBC1.Genuinely harrowing documentary.I was struck bt the fact that 16% of the posts which mention the holocaust are from deniers, apparently.Nobody should think that the holocaust was just " a detail of history"

Saw Simon Schama’s History of usEpisode 3 Last nighon BBC2.Excellent stuff.Even a clip from Bono (who I don't usually like) saying that popular culture was ahead of Politics. He has a point.

Landman, a cracking watch,it’s about ******* Texas tea out of the ground and the people who are involved with some great side stories it’s funny, sad and violent, I hope there’s another series.(paramount+)

I thought this was a really weird documentary - it felt like they were trying to put something together from a project that had been cancelled.

1. 30 minutes is way too short for such a subject.
2. Too much of the programme covered the emotions of the presenter.

1.Thought the program was on for an hour?

2.Not normally a fan of SS.He's a Tory historian but quite liked.thisHe is highly self -opinated however. You might want to check out episode 2 which as Floval Flyer pointed out was probably the best in the series.

Sorry thought you were talking about last night's programme rather than the A .one.Probably 30 mins would have been enough for most people. As someone who's actually visited the camps it brought back all the memories I needed,

REALLY looking forwards to The Traitors final tonight - I've enjoyed this series a lot, and am really keeping my fingers crossed that Alexander gets to share the winnings as I think he's wonderful!

Poor Freddie just wasn't cut out for what happened, all he did was last another day.

Lockerbie :- a powerful and moving first episode (pretty much as expected). a local journalist and father Dr Jim Swire are just starting out on their quest for the truth and a public enquiry.
Binged this entirely last week when Kev was on a Heathrow run. Horrifically realistic portrayal of the actual crash. Very emotional and quite moving, changed my opinion. Of course, Colin Firth is fantastic as well.

Same, I really like Alexander, but I think there's too much doubt hanging over him. I reckon Charlotte will be toast after her meeting with Francesca, and that Alexander will get banished leaving the remaining 3 to share the money. Hope I'm wrong, as I'd rather see Jake, Francesca and Alexander take it.

Agree The Traitors is once again wonderful TV. The only thing that annoys me is that I can't wait and watch it even a day later because the spoilers are everywhere!

I want Jake to win, very likeable guy.
