What have you watched on TV?

Amandaland. Very good. The episode (5th out of 6th i think) when the mother (Lumley) accepts the £20 bribe from Amanda's boyfriend after the kids take theirs is just priceless .... as it is when she just quietly holds her hand out for another note later.
Is that the camping epsiode? I thought that was the best one, I ****ed meself when Johannes was bitten by an adder 🤣🤣🤣

Saw the first two episodes of the latest Agatha Christie adaptation, Towards Zero yesterday afternoon. It's one of her psychological thrillers, and doesn't include any of her usual main characters.

I usually hate TV adaptations of her work but apart from a bit of gratuitous oral sex in full view of another character (NEVER would she have written that!), I've been surprised at how much I've enjoyed it. True to the period, and not too many liberties taken.
I watched the first 2 yesterday too, really enjoyed it, particularly the performance of Matthew Rhys. Always nice to see Burgh Island too.

Quite enjoyed some of the early Saint Paddy's stuff on BB4 last night and in the early hours.Especially Sinead o'Connor at the BBC & Thin Lizzy live.

Adolescence on Netflix.. Being raved about by just about everybody. I thought although it was very good (certainly in the first 2 episodes) they filled it out with some IMO quite pointless scenes in the last 2.

The acting was superb though.
I’d say Stephen Graham, along with Mark Rylance and Gary Oldman are the finest British actors applying their trade today.

Don’t get me wrong the acting was top notch from SG and the son while E1,3 and 4 was brilliant E2 was like Grange Hill on crack.

I've binged 2 seasons of White Lotus on HBO, really enjoyed it. Now onto the Thai season which has been massively hyped over here because of Lisa (Blackpink) involvement.
