What have you watched on TV?

1962 was still the closest (to nuclear conflict) with US planes sitting on the tarmac engines running with their doomsday payloads aboard :-/
The difference was that Russia and the USA were led by two comparatively sane and pragmatic men, Krushchev and Kennedy, whereas both countries now have a bloodthirsty tyrant and a geriatric in charge respectively. In the latter case it may well get even worse in a couple of weeks.

1883 (again) on Paramount. Superb first time round and just as good this time.
Brilliant series much better than Yellowstone and 1923.

I wonder where Taylor Sheridan finds the time to write all these series. he has so many on the go ATM.

I started watching the Lucan series on BBC.

The first episode was really interesting covering interviews with friends of Lucan and Sandra Rivett. The crime scene photos were absolutely appalling.

The series follows Sandra Rivett's son and his attempts to track down Lucan and bring him to justice.

Sadly the second episode featured a lot of scarcely believable 'witnesses' who claimed Lucan was a Buddhist monk in Australia and I gave up after about 20 minutes.

Thoroughly enjoyed (the repeat off) Marvin Gaye Live at Montreux in the early hours ON BBC4.No matter how many times you might have seeen it ;it still remains a great concert.Nice to see Claude Nobs (MC) in his younger days at the beginning & end of the show too.

I stuck with it and watched all three episodes. The outstanding question for me was (and still is) why one person would go through the trouble of changing their identity 4 times.

While channel hoping I watched a b&w tv western "Dead or Alive" featuring Steve McQueen; the bloke had charisma by the bucket load. Unassuming, pleasant programme.

Enjoyed Ray Davies at The Electric Promsa in theearly hours ¡on BBC 4.Will have to catch up with (the repeat of) Tony Joe White Live later today.Needless to say I've seen both of these guys live, which dates me I suppose. :Winking:

"Landman" , yet another series from Taylor Sheridan on Paramount, He must nearly own them by now.

Looking good so far.

Just finished two series, The Old Man - Series 2, and Tulsa King -Series 2. Both highly watchable, but both had gash endings leaving me wanting more but with no current signs of series 3 being made.
