What have you watched on TV?

🤫

Elf is the best! Unfortunately I like it more than my kids lol, so haven't had the opportunity to watch it this year yet. In fact, my kids seem to dislike films as a whole.

Only Home Alone watched yet... my eldest says he's up for Christmas Chronicles though.
I’m halfway through Christmas Chronicles 2 - the biggest pile of ****e I’ve ever seen, and I LOVE Kurt Russell.

Come on now, Gavin and Stacey, the finale. Wasn't it fun? Felt like welcoming back an old friend, and tying up "nearly" all the loose ends. No fishing trip explanation - and it didn't matter because everything else was sorted out!

Well written (although a couple of minor plot errors - it wasn't Smithy who had the middle names Noel and Edmond, but Neil the Baby and didn't Gavin and Stacey have 3 kids, but we only saw the two girls?) - and I felt Neil the Baby should have been part of the dock scenes.

Loved Rudi's cameo with the four kids - Taplow, Chingford, Brighton and Aldi - obviously a nod to the Beckhams!

Will have to sit and watch again when everyone else has gone back to work to fully appreciate it!

He was dancing with Neil the baby at the wedding. He played a very small part.

Was an excellent end to a fantastic programme. Kind of glad we didn’t hear what happened on the fishing trip, and Pete & Dawn are the most underrated characters on the show.

Loved what they did with Pete and Dawn, so funny. Pete became the cool bloke from the joke that he was.

Thoroghly enoyed the repeats of the 2 Arena programmes on the Everly brothers on BBC4 late last night and in the early hours. Also the Shirley Bassy show beforehand.Mum used to be a big fan.Me too.

The Gavin and Stacey finale was perfect, even I got a bit emotional at the end of it. Will go down as one of the great British sitcoms up there with Only Fools, The Office etc. You wonder if there'll ever be another.

Also enjoyed the documentary about it tonight. Looks like it was such a fun show to work on, they all just look like friends playing themselves.

Agree with Tinks, other than that the Christmas tele has been pretty rubbish.

Yeah, we watched the companion show last night, it was good, gave you a real insight. Imagine being on that Dave Coaches Tour and Matt and Jo getting on!

Thought the tv on NYE was exceptionally poor - we ended up watching a couple of back to back Sarah Millican tour shows!
