What have you watched on TV?

Half way through 'A Man on the Inside' on Netflix. Nice, easy comedy with Ted Danson who's always worth a watch. Worth spotting the other well known actors in the cast and guessing what they've starred in decades ago too....

Watched the Irresistible: Why We Can't Stop Eating documentary with Dr Chris van Tulleken on BBC2 last night, all about ultra-processed foods. Something my wife's also been reading a lot about recently. Pretty eye-opening stuff, does make you think about what you're putting in your shopping trolley and in your body.

Episode one of the 1981 TV adaptation of Brideshead Revisited.

Amazing nothing ITV once produced series like this and The World At War

Eye opening stuff. I’ll admit to having a taste for sleazy food and am trying to cook more from scratch

Finally started the latest series of Dr Who, not really gelling with it I must admit. Bit boring in all honesty.
It felt very sanitised to me. Dunno if that’s the right word but can’t really think of what else to call it. That said it’s still miles better than anything the previous showrunner cooked up

Tomorrow and I [Netflix]
Episode 1 "Black Sheep"

Thai mini-series that's going to draw a lot of comparisons to Black Mirror. I was pleasantly surprised with the half decent production values, and the twist in episode 1 was not at all what I expected.

As with Black Mirror, it's all different unconnected stories.

Masterchef the Professionals - we had the final last night, and what a final it was. Even Marcus Waring said it was the best one ever. Such an incredibly talented trio of finalists, and while I had been rooting for George from the start, I was more than happy that Dan won on the night. Both produced the most amazing final dishes and it could have honestly gone either way, I thought Chiara was a fair bit behind them in the final. Dan deserved it for his consistency throughout the whole competition.

"True story" on Netflix with Wesley Snipes and Kevin Hart. Really good with lots of twists and turns.

I have yet again had to sit though the Christmas film "Elf" I think I have lost count the amount of times I have seen this film and it is not one of my favourites

🤫

Elf is the best! Unfortunately I like it more than my kids lol, so haven't had the opportunity to watch it this year yet. In fact, my kids seem to dislike films as a whole.

Only Home Alone watched yet... my eldest says he's up for Christmas Chronicles though.

Wham!: Last Christmas Unwrapped, missed it originally so downloaded on BBC catch-up and watched it this afternoon, very enjoyable although bittersweet in parts reminding us of what we lost when George passed away in 2016 on Christmas Day.
Just watched this myself this evening. Lovely stuff, and showed what a close bunch George, Andrew and Shirlie actually were.
