What have you watched on TV?

I missed HFC but watched the Tim Rice interview after which was gripping,

I caught the end of this and will definitely try and watch it in full on iPlayer.

Why isn't there TV like this any more?

I've started The West Wing again. Absolutely amazing, I watched the first 4 series then dropped it due to uni and stuff, forgot how good it is.

Watched a couple of episodes (that we recorded) of "Superior Interiors with Kelly Hoppen". What a load of old tosh!! Some bloke from Chigwell who had a business laying driveways limited his budget to £75,000 for a new kitchen. To save money he put his daughters in charge as project managers - much to the dismay of Kelly Hoppen (who by the first set of adverts annoyed me with her voice and manner).

Thankfully the PVR crashed and forgot to record the rest of the series!

One of the funniest ever Buzzcocks last night thanks to Adam Buxton

Will have to catch up on that. Everything Buxton does is brilliant

Was anyone else thoroughly disappointed by the Spooks series finale? Think I'd have preferred a "kill 'em all" finale to that load of unfollowable garbage - the last few minutes (basically
  Spoiler:
from the time Ruth died to Tom cropping up
) were alright, but the rest was just... meh. A shame because it'd set it up well
  Spoiler:
(bit annoyed about chucking Tariq away like that mind)

Also somewhat amazed by Merlin. For a start, before the last episode, which would've been pretty solid in any other season, they had 3 bloody great episodes in a row. Second,
  Spoiler:
THEY KILLED THE KING! (Granted, he's coming back at some point apparently, along with Sir Santiago Lancelot, presumably via the thingy that got borked in ep 1 and 2) but still, I was expecting that in the series finale. (Will probably happen permanently in the finale though).

EDIT: Those are the weirdest spoiler tags I've ever seen.

Digging the new Derren Brown series - thought it started well enough, but the second episode was really good.

Buzzcocks was brilliant again last night. Tinchy Stryder, I have no idea of your music, but hats off sir for being able to not take yourself too seriously and join in. Amy Childs (?) from that hideous TOWIE bollox was like a lamb lost amongst a pack of wolves. Top episode and back to form after the Will Young anti-laugh fest.

Just been catching up with 'Top Boy' - very enjoyable. 'Boardwalk Empire' is rolling along nicely too.

I thought Amy Childs was really good, I think she's smarter than people give her credit for.

Tinchy Strider was good too.
