What have you watched on TV?

I've just started watching some of my latest acquisitions, the complete set of Some Mothers Do 'Av 'Em .. i've watched 3 episodes so far and had a near hernia during each .. comedy gold

Was. Dropped it on the basis of there was only 1 unit I actually wanted to do on the course this year and I can do that that one with my other course (joint honours).

'Forbrydelsen' (aka 'The Killling') season 2 - first 3 episodes are utterly superb, and Sarah Lund is lovely *swoon*

Enjoyed seeing Billy Bragg on This Week last night, giving his take on the strikes.Very 80's,very retro.:thumbsup:BB was rightly critical of Labour for not backing the strikes officially.
(For those of you who don't remember the 80's I suspect we're going to get a re-run).

Looking more like the 30's than the 80's...

Life Is Short - stinker. Rapidly gone down hill from the first peerless episode, now it's just "jokes" about dwarves as Warwick Davis pretends to be David Brent. Thank god for Smell (from This Is England).

Only watched the last two minutes, but "**** off Les was the funniest line I've seen on telly for years.

Hated the first one but flicked over and caught the dwarf on the cross saying THIS IS NOT A GOOD FRIDAY,funny so downloaded 2 and they were ok,just ok,its just other people being RG but has its monents
Feck off les was a flick over moment we found funny.
MONGRELS is rocking along nicely, near to the bone and very brutal but laugh a minute.

So while on the channel of dull, Beyonce did a jig, on Auntie Beeb it was cosy Sunday night costume drama, I watched a programme where the Prime Minister was blackmailed into ****ing a pig.

There was some good telly last night. The programme about rolls Royce was excellent as well

I thought Black Mirror was a bit dull actually. Derren Brown showed the same idea in principle more dramatically recently.

Watched Frozen planet, amazing stuff. Was stunned that a lone wold could isolate 1 Bison form a herd and fight it to the death.
Dissapointed in the rest of the bison clearing off and leaving one on his own. If they had stuck around they could have slauightered the wolf. No teamwork.

Did anyone see the last Rev? Lovely bit where
  Spoiler:
the ****ty athiest got splattered
and Rev Smallbone gave a lovely speech to the kids. Heart warming stuff, brilliant programme.

Good job we have
  Spoiler:
spoilers
to stop people ruining the plot, but I agree the last episode was excellent.

that show is stunning in HD

anyone been watching him and her?

The second Black Mirror was ok, not as good as last week IMHO. The metaphors were as subtle as sledgehammers!

I really enjoyed last nights (missed the first one), I thought there was some pretty subtle stuff going on besides the more obvious stuff and it brought to mind Dennis Potter's Cold Lazarus.
