Think Balanta could be a cracking bit of business. We need a left winger after losing Straker in the off-season. I firmly believe that Weston is going to be used as a striker. Therefore we need another winger in the squad.
 
For a left winger Balanta certainly sounds more promising on pedigree than that 8 year old we had on trial for the last few games

Wasnt there a song about him in the sixtys called Big Bad John , holding a mine on his shoulders .

Sounds interesting. Think he has had Fulham and Newcastle sniffing around him in the past. Must like the seaside, although of course San Sebastian has nothing on Southend-on-Sea! :winking:

As I suggested on Twitter, with Big John and Mad Max in the side we're surely going to destroy anything in this division!........and I haven't even mentioned Dan Dare. :smile:
