No doubt we will not sign any of these players i can guarantee that

How can you guarantee it? Why would we even bother having triallists in we aren't even going to sign? Why would Brown waste his time? Is it a smoke screen to cover the fact we are in an embargo and we can't sign anyone?

These and many other questions will be answered in the next episode of Soap.

why all the behind close door games this season????

Concord away on Wednesday wonder if will b a mix of youth and trialists??
Personally I would rather these trials were conducted behind close doors, less pressure on the player and management, also stops other clubs being alerted to their performances. Let's say we trial a player against Ipswich and they do really well, chances are there will be scouts from bigger clubs watching even if it's just to check out Ipswich.

Balanta has played most of his football on loan in higher division's. Maybe with the right home and lower league he can do well.

There almost seem to be two groups of supporters - those who feel having players on trial is a waste of time and those who think it's an imperfect but probably best way of evaluating unknown players.

I am quite happy with matters so far - I would rather wait for the right one or two players than have early rushed signings who may not fit the bill.

Perhaps it would be nice to believe that our scouting system and management evaluations of players would have produced some triallists that actually stood a chance. Surely there were some good players out there that warranted a trial that we already sneakily wanted as opposed to inexperienced, not up to the mark, incapable or past it ones that get sent packing.

We have a few players missing and boast 1 fit senior centre half. Players can't play 90 mins early in pre season. Rather than throwing in 16 year olds it makes sense to supplement the numbers with a couple of trialists. And every now and then a Ben Coker will crop up as a bonus.

I would think Balanta is well worth a look. Good enough that QPR gave him a new two year contract a couple of years ago. MK Dons have taken him back more than once on loan to play in L1. He has been on trial with Bradford- again L1. Maybe another Parkinson recommendation having seen something in him but passed..

Anyhow my cousins husband is a mad keen MK Dons supporter so I will get his views and report back.

if I'm honest I'm pretty exited about this trialist, has played in league 1 and chipped in with goals, can play wing or up top. Should be very good in league 2 with a proper home.

No not signed at Bradford- Wikipedia I'm afraid- he has been on trial until last week but did not ssign released by QPR beginning of July
Trial at blues with view to a permanent
