Sometimes you just wish they'd make the mark for punning porpoises...

If only there was a player called Simon Partacus ........ would be great when the ref was trying to identify him for a booking ....:whistling:

From his clubs web site
''Mads Max Ibenfeldt has expressed a desire to follow his girlfriend to London when her company moves.
Therefore AB met Mads' desire to have terminated the contract''
Didn't want to let him go but appears he is moving to the UK anyway or more correctly has already moved

OK, I've seen the video and there are couple of observations. Firstly, I hope he hasn't been hurt by those black flashes of lightening which regularly descended on his head. More seriously........far more seriously he appears as an out and out defender, there is not one instance of him in an attacking mode. I found it amazing, with his height, they he would not occasionally be brought forward for a dead-ball situation. Apart from that, for a big bloke, I agree with Kentblues, he's good with the ball at his feet.

94 games 4 goals in that division
However they play a different type of football (route 1 verboten) so not sure its as big a part of the game.
But at 6'5" and good in the air defensively it hard to believe he would not be a threat in L2 land- as always its a question of whether he can handle the physical stuff and the helter skelter.
However the games from here on in a re against better opposition so we will find out. Given his here with his wife for her business I doubt he will necessarily cost a lot- probably just wants to get a club close to London

Yes, Colchester tomorrow and Charlton on Saturday (behind closed doors) should give us - and very few others - a very good look at him. I'm sure that PB has verified that neither of those clubs is looking for a central defender! :winking:

why all the behind close door games this season????

Concord away on Wednesday wonder if will b a mix of youth and trialists??

I suspect because in these days of the social media you trial someone and every club finds out about it within a couple of hours- so its chance to look at some players and have at least half a chance of keeping it quiet.

Think we could of made some extra income by just playing these 3 behind closed door friendlies at home! Tottenham, Col U and Charlton would of attracted some fans surely we need the extra income

But doesn't 'behind closed doors' mean NO supporters, so makes no odds where it takes place.
