On football rumours. Yes I know a not particularly accurate site. Someone posted that Kane is on the brink of a switch to Millwall. I replied ( my first posting on that site for weeks) who is your source or who says?. His reply, " I'll think you'll find he has already signed for Millwall". I guess he means today. Now I believe he's put 2 and 2 together and come up with not 5 but 10. Take it as you will.

cant see personally as Kane is contracted to SUFC till 2013 so money need to change hand for his services
 
I think Kane has been discussed enough in recent weeks though I did say what was posted on footie Rumours.

Back to the original question - We'll we receive a decent last-min bid for anyone?

The club have already have players in mind they are looking to ship out before the deadline approaches but cant see us selling the players that hopefully will get us out of this league this term. But im sure the varied football rumoiurs sites will be working overtime with many rumours trying to unsettle players and supporters alike with truth's and untruths

where would be if we did not have these sites it would be boring place
 
Cannot help wondering a last min offer will come in for Bilel.

The reason being if at the end of the season Blues exercise the year's option on him and he turns it down he'll walk for nothing.

( Thats unless of course he has to abide by the club taking that year's option on him )
 
Personally, I don't see the need to start a new thread on the transfer window just because we are in the last week of it this time round. Why couldn't this have gone in the existing thread or am I just feeling pernickety this morning?
 
I have to admit that I'd almost forgotten that the transfer window was still open!...........that was, until Luggy reminded me in his pre-Shrewsbury interview. From what he said I was led to believe that the last week or so will have a bearing on the rest of our season. Whether this is in respect of players coming in or going out or players not coming in or not going out..............we shall have to wait and see.
Personally, I think that it's all been set up to give us something to talk about (the transfer window), until the Swindon match arrives. :winking:
 
Good point OBL and Yogi. The window can throw up surprises at the closure of the window nears and of course as yogi says Luggy did say this mini break will be very important for the remainder of the season. I think he was hinting at the market. I feel it was a good topic to discuss but yes maybe it should have continued on the transfer window thread. But then there are a hell of a lotta pages on that one ( this) one.

I believe that is the case yes.
 
Ryan Hall, Kane and Bilel have notable interest don't they but Hall said he wants to stay until season end. Bilel owes us one and Kane is Southend through and through lol :hilarious:

read the article on here that i put to the site from the FLP Bilel wants to stay with the Blue's so as the club have already stated they are looking to talk to those players ,they would like to be here next season so therefore will extending there contacts and hopefully he is one of them

So you asked a pretty reasonable question and he skirted the answer, sounds like slob-locks to me blue

Hall and bilel have notable interest. Kane has an agent with a big gob. Kane can't get into the starting 11 for a league 2 side, so are championship teams really going to pay a hefty fee? I know he's young, but he needs to develop so much in some areas

Yeah, it's not an option otherwise. If the club take the option of the extra year up then the player can't do anything about it. There's a story on the Sky Sports website today about Pavlyuchenko at Spurs wanting to leave in the summer but they've taken the years option so he can't.

I think its more likely that Spurs have taken up the option on Pavlyuchenko's contract in order to keep his value up. Once a player enters the final year of their contract their market value begins to plummet
 
That's exactly what has happened there. Pav wants to walk away on a free but Levy wants to get a few quid back on him.
 
We needed 2 defenders before any injuries to anyone, so if its bad, we need 3! No point having a million strikers and not being able to use them all when we need some defenders/defensive cover. A decent defender or two can also win you points!!
