Surely if JP is going to be out injured for a while one of those two will be needed to cover for him.I'd have thought we need to get a couple of players out, and quickly. Kane and Granty would be my bets.
I'd like to see a loan CB come in until the end of the season, I don't see Prosser as anything more than short term cover tbh, not good enough for a promotion side.
Prosser has impressed me the last couple of times I've seen him. If he's not going to get a look in then I don't see why he's worth keeping, he needs games.
Dailly was last training with Northampton. Personally, I think Prosser has done well when covering this season - certainly looks a lot more confident than last season. He's still young and getting time alongside Barker or Coughlan or even Phillips can only be of benefit in the long run. Prosser won the Trust's POTM award for August this season, started the season really well.Prosser is a player that really isnt good enough to be cover and says something when i would prefer a 36 year old journeyman assistant manager playing instead.
I think im right in saying that we had christian daily training with us . Im sure he could do a job for a few games .
Do we really want to see Prosser and Gilbert in the same back four when we line up against Swindon ?
Perhaps more to the point.............will we have another option???Do we really want to see Prosser and Gilbert in the same back four when we line up against Swindon ?
Clohessy, Coughlan, Prosser and Barker at LB, with Mohsni on the bench to slot in if and where necessary. I really do think it's worth the "old man" starting this one, it's one where guile may be a lot more valuable than other defensive attributes.Perhaps more to the point.............will we have another option???
Unless it's a bit of kidology, according to the Echo, Phillips looks dubtful for Swindon. If it is ONLY Swindon he is out for.....is that something to be relieved about? The problem is that Barker is the one massively out of form. If as Kris says, Prosser was playing instead of Barker and Phillips was alongside, then that would be fine by me.

Prosser is really cover for Barker because he is left-footed, hence why he stood in for him. Barker and Prosser together wouldn't work, IMO. He is also the alternative to Gilbert at left-back, of course, but the Daggers game demonstrated to me that he is a liability there.
