Dunno so much, Vardy at Fleetwood is being bandied around at 1 million and he's in the BSP. Ok he's a striker, but a non league one nonetheless.

Clubs always big up their prices when trying to sell.

AS to Hall, there is no way on earth we will sell our best player when pushing from promotion.

I think due to the position we are in the table, Hall will not be allowed (or want to) leave.

I am sure that conversations have been had, to say if we don't go up he can leave in the summer, and if we do then he will get a payrise and he can take the step up to league one with us, and see how it goes.

For me, his decision making still stops him being worth £1m + and will stop him playing at a higher level, than League One or mid table Championship.

Have heard something similar through the grapevine (minus the being sold bit), hence my prediction earlier in the match thread that Granty will take his place in the starting 11 today.

If Hall has been sold, then we either need to get someone in to replace him quick or we may struggle. Sturrock wants to build something here, you don't do that by selling your best players.

Hall has not been sold and will not be. He did miss a couple of days training for personal reasons and maybe will be on the bench to start with today. It is not a punishment or anything similar just a fitness issue.

It is the Transfer Window.
So if Hall had been sold there would be no need for secrecy. In fact, if a decent offer on any player is received (by any club) why on earth keep it secret? You make it well known in case another club wants to up the anti a few bob!

Final week drama?

Another weekend gone and a new week starting.

The final full week of the Transfer Window.

I was delighted, amongst others on here i'm sure, that Tara Brady claimed he wouldn't be accepting any offers for our better players.

But do you expect some drama as the clock ticks down to the closure of the window with possible last minute bids being received?

As you all know the tail-end on average seems to be the busiest time so-to-speak as teams rush to make last minute additions.
