I do feel for him and if he wanted to be here, I'd imagine Brown would have given him a number ... in fact, Brown even said he was impressed with him in training albeit, he might have just been trying to drive the interest up to offload him.

It’ll be a lot easier for him on 3k odd a week than it was for us to watch him score next to no goals in return for that investment I would guess.

I've really cooled off of Akinde signing. Who's he gonna replace? A couple of goalless games and fans are gonna turn and ask where Dalby is - at the moment the owner of the shirt, looks hungry and has some talent and is scoring goals.

Then you've got Akinola who lets be fair, hasnt had a chance to properly impress Brown in a run of games. I know PB hasnt liked what he's seen so far, but by the same token, he's not seen him in a run of games.

Absolutely wouldnt put it past Brown to flipflop and start to get Sim back around the squad.

Surely Akinde is gonna be on more than Sim? And I'd rather a front 4 of

I’ve said on this forum once before it’s more likely around £1,100/1,200 per week. He had options prior to joining us, Bromley being one and chose to move into league 2

I can't see him going up there his family were not happy when he played for Lincon, his next move will be to a club nearer to London I would think, Southend, Colchester, Cambridge, Orient, Daggers etc, it all depends on who wants him and can afford his salary demands.

I've heard the Akinde deal won't be happening now. It was always going to be a long shot given the difference in what we were prepared to offer compared to what he was demanding. I'm hoping that Kargbo proves his worth over the next month so he can step in if required.

It kinda looked like they wanted to get Akinola out and Akinde in for the same sort of money which looks a deal worth doing. Akinola out and Akinde in for twice as much doesn't look worth doing.

Interestingly, Steve Evans was just on Transfer Talk and he was saying they have the lowest resources in League 1. They only have 16 senior players this season, the rest are academy players. Was talking about getting rid of Maghoma to free up wages. Obviously needs to do the same with Akinde.

Orient is a good shout. Kenny Jacket type of player to be fair.
