Chesterfield have released Tom Whelan. If we got him in and the Orient guy in that would complete the midfield
And WalshIf he signs we'll have him, Akinola, ANG, Egbri & Kinali for 2 wide positions, seems like enough

I doubt we will have ANG by the end of August and tbh that doesn't bother me. I also doubt we'll have Akinola which I think is a pity.If he signs we'll have him, Akinola, ANG, Egbri & Kinali for 2 wide positions, seems like enough

It would be unfortunate as I think he is probably better than Dunne for instance.Wouldn’t surprise me if Ferguson goes though.

He’s never really settled at any club he’s played for or fulfilled his potential. I can’t understand if he’s available that Dagenham are not in for him, there maybe a reason !Now that's an interesting one to be linked to.
Has had success at this level before (scored 14 goals from the right wing whilst on loan at Dagenham in 2016/17) and at 23 has upside.
Some suggestions that his attitude wasn't quite right but stepping back down to non-league might be the wake up call he needs.
Has played approximately 150 games between L2 and National League so in that sweet spot of having first team experience but still upside.
Yet another ex-Crawley one!
If highly rated y do they let him go ?????Tom Whelan might be a very good signing for Southend. A 25 year old attacking midfielder with an eye for goal. Highly rated at both Weymouth and Chesterfield.
This could all be said regarding ANG!Hey all,
Orient fan here. JMD would be a good signing for you guys, has the potential but can be lazy at times. Technically his a good player and can move with the ball, but does lack some pace to be that pacy winger. Very creative and a good set piece taker, can hit a free kick. His attitude has been pointed out and it’s not wrong, he needs abit of drive about him to go further because when his confident and in top form, he’ll get goals and assists all day.
Except the goals and assists for this fine club. A very poor mans Jamal Campbell-Ryce.This could all be said regarding ANG!
Almost impossible to estimate an average salary in the NL. There’s a number of factors, age (ex youth players) experienced players and position (strikers/goalkeeper). I had a relative, a striker that turned 3 clubs in league 2 (Yeovil, Lincoln and Stevenage) based on money and joined Dagenham.I have no idea What salary would constitute very very low or lower than you would expect for yin’s level. I still think very very low is relative to someone’s position. If your on minimum wage the £500 may seem a lot I have no idea, similarly if you earn £500 a week £1,000 may seem a lot and so on.
so let us know what very very low is so we can judge if it is very very low
I fully understand that and htink it is hard to say what the average for any division would be.Almost impossible to estimate an average salary in the NL. It was season 2017/18 and if my memory serves me it was £1250 per week, with a bonus incentive for 15 goals or more.I fully understand that and htink it is hard to say what the average for any division would be.
I just wondered what those contracts offered were as some were / are saying that offered a very low per week wage or very very low per week wage
it isnt important i just wondered as i always find these tings a relative to the situation that people are in. Footballers are seen as earning a fortune in most circles so was curios.
Then there is no room for Ricky Holmes. If Holmes decides to stay brown will have to decide to sign him or the Orient guy
