Surely low or high depends on whether there are other offers?
I heard Elvis was on a really really low wage.. less than Che was 20 years ago.

I agree and to some being offered 40k a year isn’t a very very low salaryI have nothing to back this up but I would imagine the average wage in the national league is about 40k per year. Some will be on less and some vastly more.
The idea that players are getting paid 150k+ per year in this league is rediculous tbh. That's not to say it isn't happening.
Chris Phillips would be the first to know about the issue, show us some evidence?!But then how would we know that he knows something we don't?
Unfortunately I cannot. ... sorry. Nothing to do with the stadium. Wont comment further on this.
I have no idea What salary would constitute very very low or lower than you would expect for yin’s level. I still think very very low is relative to someone’s position. If your on minimum wage the £500 may seem a lot I have no idea, similarly if you earn £500 a week £1,000 may seem a lot and so on.
so let us know what very very low is so we can judge if it is very very low
It real terms it doesnt matter but as it was posted that the first offers were very very low, i felt i had the right to ask wha that was. I only talk base salary as I do not think many people in the world outside of football get a weekly scoring bonus lol.Why does it matter? You're never going to know the precise details anyway and there's a myriad of ways that a contract can be structured that would effect take-home pay.
They could be skewed more heavily towards base salary, which might be attractive to a more seasoned pro looking for a steady pay-day. At the other end of the scale, it could be more incentive-based, so if you're a young lad/not mortgaged to the hilt and you back yourself to score goals or keep clean sheets, maybe that's the way to go. Sure you can probably broadly guesstimate an average weekly wage per division, but it's like comparing apples and oranges.
In my humble opinion, this is the danger with ITK posts... If the source is good and the intel is succinct, it's great. If it's even vaguely opaque, it sends some people into a lather. My personal opinion is that I can't control it, so why worry?
Where’s Jonny? What’s he like?
SOUTHEND United are interested in signing former Leyton Orient winger Jordan Maguire-Drew, Echosport understands.

He's only 23. No thanks.
