Transfer News and Gossip Transfer Rumours Thread 2024/25 - Time to Cook 👨‍🍳

Transfer news
The thing for me is he drives forward unlike a lot of our midfield who look to pass sideways and backwards. (I am sure they have been watching England to much) :Winking:
I'd have hoped that watching England over the summer would have made people realise how good we have it. If people want to moan about sideways and backwards, that's England all over. We do it sometimes to keep possession, but we are way more front foot and pressing than England were at any point over the summer.

Agreed and unlike England we have a centre forward who leads the line, unlike Harry Kane who most of the time played behind the midfield.

Disagree with you. Our midfield look to keep the ball and if that is sideways that is fine by me. When we are at our best, players are making runs beyond the ball, giving the player in possession more options.

Now we are back from Ireland I look to see it ramp up a bit now regarding transfers and hopefully get a couple in by York game

We were still talking to targets whilst we were away.
To be fair, you shouldnt really need to explain that.

"Can i speak with Kevin please, really thought long and hard about that contract and i'd like Kev to hear it from me first that i'm signing"
.."sorry but Kev's taken the squad to Ireland and isnt contactable" 😄

Anyway, where's the Collymore money ?

Utter shambles. Surely they know that in circumstances like this you just put Kevin from accounts on the line?

2 or 3 through the door tomorrow at intervals during the day would be excellent.
Think that would then suffice until the EFL clubs decide who they wish to loan out.
