Transfer News and Gossip Transfer Rumours Thread 2024/25 - Time to Cook 👨‍🍳

Transfer news
When was the last time there was a transfer rumour???? Some joker who appeared then, as quickly, disappeared? Desperately searching for transfer rumours and all I find are posts about tactics, comparisons with old players, or ways the new signings will integrate into our system of play. All very interesting but not what I'm looking for on this thread!

OK Yogi. It's over to our Shrimperzone In the Know correspondent who will brief us on today's transfer rumour news:

"Welcome to the In the Knows office behind the West Stand at Roots Hall. Here is today's transfer rumour news.

There is no news."

That was today's In the Know transfer rumour news. Join us tomorrow for the latest transfer rumour news.

Ebbsfleet have signed Mustpha Olagunju, 22 year old CB from Huddersfield, 6' 2'' tall.

7 league appearances to his name at Port Vale (6) and Crawley (1)

9 appearances on loan at Ebbsfleet last season.

If we can get Beau signed up/registered at least we will have a squad of 21, albeit with 4 out . The positive is that provides more experience for Beau and Faulkner on the bench. Although 9 sides have a squad of between 25 and 32, which at a minimum allows for 4 injuries and 10 to chose from for the bench

York have signed Malachi Fagan-Walcott on a season long loan from Cardiff.

originally from Edmonton, he spent 5 years at Spurs from 13-18 years old before being released.

A defender, 6' 1" tall.

Played 15 games on loan at Dunfirmline last season, scoring 3 times.

Beau's not ready, surely?
I think there's an argument that we're not doing him any favours by having him sitting on our bench with no intention of ever bringing him on - at an age when he should be out getting used to mens football at a lower level.

Who do fans want as our new number 9 … bonne been mentioned on here as well as Adarkwa from Wealdstone too any other new names ..
some bloke who scored 3 in 67 games previously, sends the zone into melt down, but comes in and rip it up. Named something like Larry Corrwell.

in all seriousness, some experience. doesn't have to be 30+, but we probably want an established first team player to go alongside Bim who doesn't have that body of work behind him.

Used to be they needed a big arse ideally, but these days we want someone about 6'1 and mobile, decent pace.

Defo want someone that got bit of pace and strength for sure . And of course chip in with some goals it be interesting to see if Kev brings in Somone with experience this time around that played a fair few games under he’s belt
