Are we clear on the rules for loanees? I seem to recall they had to be half season or full season unless an emergency keeper but I may have imagined that.
That was when we were EFL
I wonder if Macauley Bonne is still a possibility, donāt think he has signed anywhere yet, although presumably he could still sign for a league club as heās not currently registered anywhere so maybe waiting for that.

Very interested to know who are the potential replacements for Cardwell. Do we know of any? Assuming Bonne and Adarkwa are still options (Adarkwa fee could be increased with some of the Cardwell money?).
I also wonder if a player like Bonne wouldnāt have signed whilst we still had Cardwell knowing they would likely not start but now he has left it might open the door for them to come back. Just a thought.
My source at Wealdstone told me Adarkwa is out injured for 3 months so although his name may still be on the whiteboard he wonāt be an immediate replacement for Cardwell

I would like to think that we are talking to York to take one of their 6 talented forward players on a short term loan. They only play 3, the others come off the bench and invariably score late. It was Ollie Pearce on Saturday. I donāt think Lennell John-Lewis has started a game but invariably comes on and scores. I know York love this and keeps them hungry but surely the players will want to play more minutes. All 6 would be first teamers at other clubs at this level. You also have Dipo Akinyemi, Tyrese Sinclair, Billy Chadwick and ANG. Any one of the 6 could assist Pepple whilst we look at longer term options and Walker/Waldron recover from injury. A 28 day loan would help us, help York to keep their player match sharp and help the player get more wanted minutes.
