Transfer news
Here are some highlights from a few years back

Lots to like from his highlights (although who has bad highlights?) strong, comfortable on the ball whilst marked, able to get behind a defence. Looks a good fit for what we need. Would have been a nice back-up to Cards.
My highlight reel also looks decent ... so a pinch of salt with these

It's just a shame that with all the names we have been linked with, this seems a bit underwhelming

Not to mention, loosing Cards on top

Understand that Forest Green are set to announce the signing of a striker from the EFL later on today, who they have spent a decent fee on. This doesnā€™t mean Cardwell is definitely staying, however, if anything it is a slight positive.
Well i was right with this but looks like Cardwell is still off. Absolutely despise those vegans. As for Pepple, absolutely awful striker going off what iā€™ve heard from Grimsby and Bromley fans. Fuming.

Peppleā€™s record sounds awfully similar to Cardwellā€™s 1 in 37 for Grimsby. So letā€™s not judge him too soon.

Besides, itā€™s not like he is being signed as Cardwellā€™s replacement. We need someone in up front urgently, so a loan makes sense at short notice. We can just send him back to Luton if it doesnā€™t work out.
These type of signings are often the biggest surprise in a positive way. Bought by Luton when in Prem based on performances and goals in Canadian Prem (donā€™t know what level that is)- but Luton saw something and JS has strong contacts at Luton. That has more value than the views of a few Bromley and Grimsby fans (think DC relationship with Sheff U and what that brought)ā€¦.and few people know less about football than football fans it seemsā€¦
