York about to sign Josh Stones for a decent chunk after he was recalled by Wigan from Oldham. Must be nice being able to just spend and bring in who ever you want.

Rumour on that one from the Oldham and York end is that the fee is in the region of £300k. Oldham fan comments:
"My fears about ours season going tits up are coming true. Id be massively surprised if we couldn't match the bid, but this, coupled with conlons injury are huge blows"
Another:
"Good player Stones, you'll love him at York, congrats!
It is a lot of money, but he has the potential to increase his value as he keeps bagging goals and improving.
He apparently seems to pick up a lot of little injuries, but that's just due to how he plays, he's clearly a very fit lad.
I trust in our management, and we were going well before his short loan, be interesting to see who we turn to now."
Unfortunately sustainable means we struggle to compete with a number of clubs at this level whether on transfer fees or wages. Sustainability is good not bad, but it also demands patience- which many supporters apparently also lack…Ridiculous fee for the NL.. they had better hope they go up.

Yes and they are paying off all the hidden debt Ron accumulatedMillionaires holding sway again, if only we had one or two ?
They also got the club, a training ground and soon to be stadium for a £1.Yes and they are paying off all the hidden debt Ron accumulated

Virtually all EFL clubs and most in our division are loss making. COSU weren’t silly enough to think sustainable in lower league football = making a profit, or even breaking even. Maybe a few years down the line if we really do follow the Brentford model as well as Brentford did/do…All of which are loss making.
Currently.
A debt ridden club, training ground that needs lots spent and a stadium totally neglected for years - what a bargain !They also got the club, a training ground and soon to be stadium for a £1.
With the debt size unknown and probably growing with new debtors weekly. I’ll take 2.A debt ridden club, training ground that needs lots spent and a stadium totally neglected for years - what a bargain !
If it was such a bargain why didn’t you pony up.They also got the club, a training ground and soon to be stadium for a £1.
We are not doing this again surely? If it was such a bargain why didn’t you pony up.
