Is there a risk come January that Luton recall Bim?

Also, if Golding is a 28 day loan from the 6th of December his current final game would be Braintree if not extended?

Yes.

I’m led to believe that there is a “break clause” in Bim’s loan, which gives a window to Luton to recall him. That is in January.

The worry is that Luton feel like Bim has proved himself at National League level, and want to move him up the ladder into the football league.

As for Golding, it was just announced as a “short term” loan wasn’t it? I haven’t asked about him.

It's until the end of January.

That is the case but there is also the case that they are happy that their player is getting game time and enjoying his loan.

They may well recall and he goes on loan in league 2 and then sits on the bench.

From their point of view its better to monitor a player that is playing games and scoring goals than going to view his progress and he doesn't even get on.

The harsh truth is that he is good for us at NL level, and maybe right now would be at his level in L2. He is 22 and miles off Championship level. So unless Luton are planning for successive relegations it tough to believe he is really in their plans. They get him a loan in L2- does that really change their world ?
My feeling is if wanted to do a deal it’s possible. Or maybe he’ll end up at Barrow..

Cardwell coming back would be a disaster. he was great, but he misses 15 games a season through 'injury'. that number will be going up each season not down.
Luton would be bonkers to end bims loan spell in jan, unless they need him ...
Nearly always a mistake to go back. He had one good, relatively injury free season with us but best to leave it like that. Re-signing old favourites seldom works out well.

Ex-Blue too ! Was on trial in our reserves when D and R stepped in and snapped him up and scoring loads there,he then went full-time.
Yep we were L1 at the time. Saw a couple of his games for our reserves. Imagine having a reserve team!

I feel like Bim is going to get recalled and then sent out on loan to a higher level.

He’s good and would be decent if we could sign him on a permanent basis. However, there are concerns, why can he only last 60 minutes? Not really a statement signing if he has to be dragged off after 60 minutes every game.

Great player, great bloke, would be a great signing. Just can’t see it happening.

Deals are always there to be done though, we managed to strike a deal to get Lopata when we didn’t have a pot to **** in!

I think that would be a bad move by Luton if they did. He is still very raw and requires game time which is what he is getting with us and improving because of it.

Bim has a much higher ceiling than Cards. No disrespect to Cards but he's a good NL striker at best. Bim has potential for LG1 in my opinion (still a lot of work needed to get there). Certainly worth a gamble on investment. Mind you I thought the same on Kabongolo too but we let him go and signed Crowther instead.

I’ve heard it mention numerous times but the likes of Stockport, Chesterfield, Notts County and lesser extent Wrexham not only bought in good players but players that would be good enough to compete in L2 minimum and in some cases L1. No coincidence they did that, got promoted and are now L1 or/and comfortable in L2. Shouldn’t we be looking at the quality of players like Bim and build a squad not only good enough to get us out this league but beyond? Of course it will also come down to money it always does but if we can pick up players like Bim etc then it would go along way to helping us get out this league

What's happened to Brooklyn Kabongolo?

Any truth to the rumour that the club have been out shopping on Boxing Day?

I hear some new easy wipe pens and a white board were top of the list ..............
