I wonder if we were ever after Josh Stokes who is currently doing extremely well at Aldershot. Was at Sudbury last season and is 19. Very much our sort of player

Pre the three amigos - how about Kenny Coker, he could probably do with some adult football - is he still at Norwich or out on loan somewhere? He'll be turning 20 soon

Cardwell didn’t have a great goal-game record before joining us either. 1 goal in 37 games for Grimsby..

The difference is one was establishing himself at the start of his career and the other’s career is on the downward slide.

Sandat makes a lot of sense and I know I'm in a minority but I really don't see what everyone else seems to in him. I know he's a kid but he doesn't look like a player, for me.
He improved a hell of a lot. That type of progress really bodes well for him.

Has a good frame, finds space. He’s raw but there was a lot to work with. I much prefer him as a prospect than as someone to help immediately but that’s not to say he couldn’t help.

Who ever they are allowd to bring in .I will say it does not matter what bills are piad in full .It seemes the national leauge are going to keep punishing the club untill Ron has gone .

I was more talking about Dackers, who is considerably younger than Cardwell was before joining us.

Point taken on Hopper, although I still think he’d have something to offer at this level, he’s only 29.

Ah, I’ve got you.

We’ll see on Dackers. If he was 5 ft 9 I doubt he’d be a footballer.

He is only 20 with plenty of time to improve. As Aquah has proved, too young to write him off. Who better to improve him than our fantastic management team. If they see something in him, I'm convinced.

I actually thought he had a good touch, especially for a big unit and brought others into play well.

I do think he is competition for Cardwell rather than a partner. We still need a quick, intelligent, pocher type. We won't get that type of player on a non-contract though. We may have to wait until the embargo is lifted for that.
