There was quite a bit of talk of Hopper when Cards was linked with Exeter.

I'd love Hopper but I don't know how much he has in the tank following his injury. We need to move on from players who carry injuries. Don't want him to be another Hyde or Murphy.

Dackers I'd take no question.

Thanks - not a huge Powell fan but that's a nasty injury that I wouldn't wish on anyone let alone someone who always puts 100% effort in. Thoughts with Callum :0(

Work is already under way on trying to get a centre forward through the door for the weekend.

Seems to be a bit of optimism that we maybe able to bring in a loanee as opposed to just those on non-contract terms.

Don’t know for definite, but may have to be along the lines of as long as the parent club is paying the wages.

Agreed, can't stand the man. Captain of my worst Southend XI on my podcast. Mainly for his off the field antics which is something considering how abysmal he was in his 5 cameo appearances.

I have total confidence in Kev to bring in whoever he wants in order to strengthen the squad. After all, you can't say he's done that badly with the little he has to work with at the moment!

Dalby back on loan dare I suggest, his hold up play was really good and with the midfield we now have and him alongside Cards, I wouldn't be averse to that pairing.
