Accounts like that TC9 just read stuff here and then throw enough **** at the wall that eventually something is correct and then they delete the rest claiming to have "got it right"

I was pleasantly surprised at the difference Kabongolo made after coming on at Barnet. Considering he was playing out of position, he really put himself about and made some decent runs. The problem is though, strikers are the most sought after signings for a reason. Putting the ball in the net is the most important factor in the game and he didn’t bury a very good chance that a striker might have.

For one-off games you might get away with square pegs in round holes and on another day he might have buried it. But over the course of say 10 games you’d really notice the difference so the sooner Cardwell gets fit and/or we bring in some others up top the better.

Strikers are the most sought after because their output is easiest to measure. If you’re not scoring it’s easy to look at the striker and say the issue is he isn’t scoring so he must be the problem. In our case that’s actually fair as things were actually ok when Cardwell was fit. A lot of the time the issues will be with lack of supply and a team not creating much. But strikers are signed as the cure-all.

Different types of player. Hopper is more like Cardwell, and holds up the ball really well, whilst being good in the air and brings others into play. And has done so at L1 level very effectively. Will still chip in with goals and the return may be a bit higher at our level.
Different types of player as Hopper was much more reliant on his athleticism.

He's done the same every other time he's been brought on, or moved, upfront - is it 3 or 4 times now?
