Yep. Done deal.Recent history shows the deal must be very close if CP is running a story. He didn't publish anything on Crowther and Dackers until it was pretty much a done deal.
Yep, really good selection and most importantly currently fit and healthy (Cards aside). Also heard that Sandats loan will be extended
A choice of Dackers, Sandat, Waldron and Cardwell is pretty decent. Each one offers something a bit different
Reckon another week or so and he will be bench ready at least. Slightly less pressure to rush him back nowYep, really good selection and most importantly currently fit and healthy (Cards aside).
They might not even make the bench at this rateI'd start Vilhete and Wood up top on Saturday.
With the signing of Crowther, and return to fitness of Lomas (eventually), not to mention Kabongolo, we could afford to push Ralph into LWB without too much impact on the balance of the team. As for Gussy, how do you replace a bloke that looks like a bag of spanners and can't pull his socks up, tough old ask, that one. (I love the bloke).I think once the Waldron’s deal is done that leaves us pretty well covered in most positions. Maybe an orthodox left footer for the left hand side to give Bridge a break and cover for GSM too if we could. Things looking upwards
Excuse me and play Bridge where??With the signing of Crowther, and return to fitness of Lomas (eventually), not to mention Kabongolo, we could afford to push Ralph into LWB without too much impact on the balance of the team. No, leave Ralph where he is. Maybe we'll look at the lower leagues for a young player that can maybe cover both RWB and LWB (after all isn't Bridge right footed anyway)With the signing of Crowther, and return to fitness of Lomas (eventually), not to mention Kabongolo, we could afford to push Ralph into LWB without too much impact on the balance of the team. This is bad news- however much I stare at that picture the flag never moves….Not till the corner flag flutters we haven't.
That's because you probably haven't yet reached that mature stage in life when cataracts come into view. Makes for a very moving experience some times, especially where corner flags are involved. This is bad news- however much I stare at that picture the flag never moves….
This thread might go quiet for a while then.Yep. Done deal.
Not to move Bridge, but to provide resting time for the bloke now and again.Excuse me and play Bridge where??
Yep. But I was only offering up another option to the post I originally replied to, and no one excepts the Spanish Inquisition. No, leave Ralph where he is. Maybe we'll look at the lower leagues for a young player that can maybe cover both RWB and LWB (after all isn't Bridge right footed anyway)
Their chief weapon is surprise, you know. Surprise and fear.Yep. But I was only offering up another option to the post I originally replied to, and no one excepts the Spanish Inquisition.
So if the game had been on Tuesday would we have signed him on Tuesday without the renegotiations?
