Can anyone post a chi article from Chris Philips I have tried private browsing but unable to see it. Says we are getting closer.

SOUTHEND United are closing in on a swoop for Rushall Olympic striker Danny Waldron.

The 27-year-old is joint top scorer in National League North with 16 goals already this season and the Echo understands a deal for him to join the Shrimpers is close to being completed.
However, Blues boss Kevin Maher did not give much away when asked about the possibility of signing a new striker during his press conference on Thursday morning.

Maher said: "I don’t like to say too much because anything can happen but we’d like to have one in before Saturday if possible.

"You can tell we’re probably a touch short in that area.
"Cards (Harry Cardwell) is getting there in terms of fitness but if we could do one more I’m sure we would like at it."

Will give it a go. Thanks

Edit: can’t get it to work that way either.

That way works for me there you go

By the time this chap Waldron does arrive I expect to have gone past "being hungry" & will be absolutely ravenous.

I expect him to knock over bushes & run through (or just jump over) fences ........ and that's just to get on the pitch.

Other clichés are available upon request.

just as long as he`s not pulling up trees for phil brown

Recent history shows the deal must be very close if CP is running a story. He didn't publish anything on Crowther and Dackers until it was pretty much a done deal.
