If we are able to keep Sandat fine, but don't forget Jack Wood. He arguably was playing out of position up front, but he is really going to struggle for game time. Jack is still a young lad learning the game and won't improve by not playing. If Sandat is kept and I am not sure we now need to help develop another Club's youngster, then at the very least Jack should go out on loan again.
Wood in the same basket as Brooklyn, in an ideal world they are allowed to develop in a more measured way than being relied upon to play in the 1st team week in week out. As you said possibly a loan, gradual introduction to first team games etc.

I think Waldron would be a cracking signing. He's the kind of striker we need. Yes, he's been playing at a lower level, but I think it's worth noting that whilst he's the joint top goal scorer in the NLN, but he's not playing for a team at the top, he's playing for a side at the lower end of the table. He's a natural goalscorer. I think he'd thrive on being in a team with better quality players, and better service.

would like to think that the new owners will renstate our under 21 team Sowe could possable blood our own stars as we did before .

Personally I don't think a U21s/U23s team is the way forward - maybe a "B" team set up like Brentford have/had could yield better results.

We already have the management team (Benno/JD/Danny Heath) at the club!

Back on topic - this would allow us to trial players in proper games before signing. More leftfield players such as Brooklyn could be utilised.

Hearing Kidderminster have made an eleventh hour bid for Danny Waldron. Phil Brown wants him as he tries to avoid relegation..

He wants the move to Southend, but wouldn’t have to move geographically if he went to Kidderminster as he’s already based in the West Midlands.

Sounds like a matter of convenience versus ambition. Easier for him to go to Kiddy, but they're not going to be pulling up any trees even if they do survive. On the other hand, we are looking at a promotion push next season.

He has to choose between being a National League South player next season or an L2 player the season after.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this post from the Kiddie Board.

Phil Brown is lining up former England youth international Nile Ranger as his first signing since being appointed manager of Kidderminster Harriers.

The former Hull City man worked with Ranger twice at Southend United.

The deal will initially be until the end of the season.… pic.twitter.com/aIbB30GdTI

Location feels a real worry there, just hope he chooses his career over what is easier. Would be a right kick in the balls losing out to that washed up has been.

Kiddie are bottom of the league & 7 points from safety. Tough to imagine the club avoiding relegation perhaps and then Waldron will be back where he was before, no?

Look at the source, laugh at the source not the rumour.

Sure the club will call him to remind him we’ve watched him 20 times and know his strengths and how to get the best out of him. Better than scouting him from looking at the goalscorer charts whilst waiting for the sun bed

That's not really the choice though is it? There are no guarantees in football. So many variables that could happen.

Plus, as been mentioned, he is playing in that region already. Non-league salaries aren't that prosperous to be able to up sticks and move, especially to the south east where it is notoriously expensive. If they match the salary we are offering but he has to pay an extra 500 quid a month rent to move here, it's a no brainer to go to Kidderminster. He'll then still be at a biggish (for that level) club in the league below if they go down. There is also little we can do if Kidderminster offer a higher fee. We don't want to be going back with a bigger offer if he's not worth it. If we've hit our ceiling fee wise, we move on.

This is a joke…right??

When a club is looking at a potential signing they will almost certainly be aware that the player in question will have been on the radar of other clubs and bids may well come in. Waldron has probably attracted interest from other clubs, hopefully he is focused on joining us.

He is either right for us or not. We are a big club. Big fan base, ambitious and with a good young management team. We create **** loads of chances so he should be able to come in and score for fun. Most of that does not apply to kiddie.

It’s a decision between his football ambition or personal circumstances. Can understand if he chooses one or the other. It’s hard for these non league players but his age we could be his last chance of a crack at EFL football

Won’t lose sleep over it as know there are others we are after but be surprised after all the work gone in and the fact that he has agreed personal terms etc if he doesn’t sign for us
