Edit .You seem to be conveniently ignoring the fact that because of the covenant on RH we can't move until a new ground is ready for us to move into.Nor can RH be developed for housing until then.Why?

Sorry but I can't be arsed to scroll back and see the context for your post.Though I do remember having a mild critiscm of mine in reply to a post of SVC's being deleted when all I did was to highlight his remark "Trust us,trust me" and reply that I believed that trust had to be earned.

I‘m not sure if it’s relevant but just to say that I’m pretty sure SVC deleted his own post (which is usually what happens). I don’t think the mods have deleted any posts of his, or at least not for quite a while. As I say I don’t know if it’s relevant as I haven’t been following the thread

Again just a guess as I wasn’t involved, but usually if posts are deleted we try to delete those which quote them. It might just have been that.

Hey Barna you know theres no perfect world and we just try to keep things civil on here. Sometimes things can be overanalysed a touch. I doubt your post disappeared as part of some coordinated top secret masterplan to either protect SVC or grind your gears

I'm in no way defending Ron here but the club has gone from L1 to NL very quickly (which is Rons fault) during Covid and racked up debts that other national league clubs simply didn't because they stopped playing / cancelled relegation leading to them furloughing players.

We are competing against those clubs and whilst we have parachute payments we are in a strange situation where we probably owe more in debt accrued during that period than those payments are worth.

Yes we need Ron out of the club, it is the only way we can move forward but if I was a potential buyer I'd wait until the end of this season so that the majority of payment agreements setup during covid are completed

As someone that has been over moderated through the years I still don’t envy the job of the mods. These days libel plays a big part in matters.

Personally I find the thread locking and off topic deletions frustrating BUT I’m not a mod so I reserve the right for them to do so (but I know they miss my pictures ).

There is a bit of SVC marmite going on in here but no different to the RM marmite.

The thing I find most annoying is the fact that today’s society, especially social media, is so divisive. It’s hard to have a debate on anything (SUFC, Brexit, Monarchy etc) without the I disagree with your opinion therefore you must be wrong and I abuse you brigade.

There is generally no right opinion. Only different ones. Long live the European free republic of Great Britain (ex Scotland) with RM as its’ president.

The sponsor issue might well not be heard of again anyway given they have removed their Facebook post.

The only definite live issue then is the HMRC bill and consequent embargo.

There needs to be a statement issued on that. It’s poor that it already hasn’t tbh. You cannot sweep that under the rug. Too many people saw it.

So, this finance - this bridging loan - is due within weeks not months according to Ron. That tallies with the October timeline I’ve heard previously. So we shouldn’t worry. Unless it gets to November or even Christmas and we’re still not paying staff or players.
