Transfer Embargo, Winding Up Petition & Staff Salary Issues

It is a perfectly reasonable point of view to argue that SVC is being cleverly used as a human shield by Martin to take the heat off him, Never under estimate the Machiavellian skills of RM, Similarly TL, as a director of PG he has been put in a difficult position as a sponsor of SUFC. If you sup with the devil, you need a long spoon.

TL doesn't put cash into the club - if Ron approves TL's budget and says he'll fund the difference between revenue and expenses - then what has TL done wrong? The same with Stan - he's not responsible for cash in.
No but you have to wonder how much longer they'll continue to be associated with SUFC when they're both so clearly impotent to make any of the changes which are obviously so necessary.

I think some of you need to take a calming pill, this really isnt about SVC or TL. As for SVC we wouldnt have theplayers or management team we have now but for him,he to my mind when all this is finished and finally after so may years our club is stable and has a good future ( which we will have ) should have a stand named after him and a bronze statue placed outside , TL im sure is also doin the best for the club under very trying circumstances, we should all be grateful, This mess is bought about by one mans ego and desire not just for a decent pay day when he finally decides to sell the club ,but also for his hope that people will look upon him as our saviour. He may well be that but i doubt very much he will be seen to be that in the supporters eyes. .People take a chill pill lets see what October brings

Yes i would love new owners of the club , what i dont want to see is an Ambrovich , oysten or Man utd type owners can also put in Newcastle type owners, love to see new owners that truly love my club and its supporters and truly want the best for us all.

So you can't see any improvement since TL and Stan have joined? Lots of changes have happened. The one change they can't make, and I'd argue no one can make, is finding Ron's magic money tree.

What are your expectations of TL and Stan?

I do wonder how long they'll stay, but I certainly won't be criticising them for things outside of their remit / control

This is precisely the sort of advice that has led to where we are now, Wait and see, there is always some false hope on the horizon. Do nothing, hang on to nurse for fear of something worse, Martin will be the death of this club and needs ousting now.

God willing they will stay for the duration ,We need them believe it.

Certainly not now it doesn't but it used to.Before the current Chairman took over of course.

Edit .You seem to be conveniently ignoring the fact that because of the covenant on RH we can't move until a new ground is ready for us to move into.Nor can RH be developed for housing until then. Why?
Because we all know this don’t we? I know it’s Groundhog Day but yes you are correct

Yes but I'd've thought there comes a time when you realise you need to walk if you're impotent to make any of the changes you can clearly see need to be made.

Maybe not but when's the next inevitable winding up order coming from HMRC?
Ah good question.
I’d love to ask anybody from the club how does the club benefit from the new stadium? I can’t seem to find an answer to this. A cynic would say it’s all about the property and the stadium is an add on that won’t help us in any way.

It's an even more perfectly reasonable point of view to see how SVC has cleverly defused the situation to take the heat off our club. Yes, we're still dangerously short of the cash (and will be in my opinion until we really get into the end-game) but anyone thinking Stan is either a mug or a puppet has simply not been watching how things have played out.

By having a love -in with his uncritical and admiring celeb. supporters on SZ?

  • Do you not think that our squad has improved since last season (even before the injured players return)?
  • Do you not think that SVC and his team have had a hand in that?
  • Do you not think that (Ron continuing to struggle with cashflows and ****ing with HMRC aside) we've seen progression in the club and on the pitch?
Honestly, if you think the answer's no to any of those and you want to insist that Stan hasn't had a huge impact on this club already, then there's really no point discussing it. Each to their own.
