Transfer Embargo, Winding Up Petition & Staff Salary Issues

So, this finance - this bridging loan - is due within weeks not months according to Ron. That tallies with the October timeline I’ve heard previously. So we shouldn’t worry. Unless it gets to November or even Christmas and we’re still not paying staff or players.
How can we not worry when the poor staff are not getting paid

I was being a bit sarky there. Non payment of staff is never acceptable and needs rectifying straight away. Ron needs to answer on this one really, doubtful he will but let’s hope it stops, now. Not within weeks - now.

Yeah, about that October timeline….

I don't want to piddle on your chips, but it was also an August deadline. It's a moveable feast as far as RM is concerned and he doesn't care about the lives he tramples on when he moves it.

A small amount of the players not being paid, probably affected the performance yesterday. It would even affect some of those that were paid, if they have mortgages, newborns etc. worrying about the future. Other players will know this is Southend United. This is what happens. This is how RM runs things. They will all get paid, along with the staff and staff at Roots Hall. Sadly, this pattern of cash flow shortage has repeated many times over the years. Just like the tax non payments and the embargo's.

The oncreasingly heavy hand of the mods is stifling debate on the Zone on many topics. What exactly are they afraid of?. It seems this is becoming less of a genuine forum and more of a platform for views that accord with a narrow form of opinion. Evidence will be if this post gets deleted and the 'insufficient privileges" cliche is wheeled out.
It's not unknown for forum owners to be subject to legal action for what they allow to be published on their site, believe me.

The best form of moderation is self-moderation.

The recent statement by our shirt sponsor on Facebook which appears to have disappeared saying due to financial reasons or is it another reason.Heard a rumour on Saturday that its possible they are upset as they didn't win the contract for FF.
Wonder if it's been resolved in view of the signage and the players shirt still displayed their name.

Where has the 'small amount of the players not being paid' statement come from. I have not seen it mentioned until now.

Yet another isue where clarity not obfuscation is needed. As TL is a director of this company as well as being the club's CEO he ought to explain what is going on. Silence only invites speculation, damaging to both the club and the company.

From me, from my HP. Also from 'in the know' Meeting with Stan thread, page 3 #53. Even if you don't believe me, in the knows info has always been spot on up to now.
'Means F all if there not being paid though doesn’t it.' (Moley) MMmmm very dubious assumption I think. Unless your HP?? is more factual.
