I would like to hear from our side of events, because I'm struggling to see how you can dishonestly gain a sponsorship, but this is SUFC, I'm not ruling anything out.

But who will tell us or will we get communication? No.

It’s certainly possible to dishonestly gain a sponsorship: falsely overstating the number of shirts your (lack of) logo will appear on, falsely reporting attendances/viewing figures. Not sure that’s applicable here: their complaints would seem to be more about the club’s conduct and reputation than about any false financial representations.

I’m pretty sure Tom would tell them to take it down for that reason but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the end of the matter.

Why would you say that? Classic on here- you will post the question, numerous people will excitedly leap on it as fact. And another fiction lives a life of a hundred posts…

The developer is a company created for the purpose (as is normal) jointly owned by a company owned by son of Ron and another by the Dellals. Funding for the development will come from various sources but of course normally including the developers. The Dellals are loaded- Ron I suspect one way or another is putting in the land with PP at RH and FF which becomes a very valuable asset (£10s of million range). Not sure he has “sold” the land in the sense of for £ - it will no doubt transfer to the development at valuation and I think there is an agreement that allows Ron to then to raise certain funds against that collateral based on a certain stage (stages) being reached. Allegedly delayed causing issues.
The football club don’t own either RH or the training pitches.
My understanding anyway.

Certainly not now it doesn't but it used to.Before the current Chairman took over of course.

Edit .You seem to be conveniently ignoring the fact that because of the covenant on RH we can't move until a new ground is ready for us to move into.Nor can RH be developed for housing until then.Why?

Why is there a constant need from some posters to post abusive name calling towards other posters or to belittle them just because their view is not shared? It seems to me that we are all Shrimpers and as such all opinions are valid. Shrimperzone's readership is diverse in their views and no amount of badgering will change that.

I’m most definitely not a RM supporter. I want him out of this club as much as anyone else. However, and I maybe already be on this, TL has been CEO for a year now and it’s been clearly noted RM no dealing with day to day running of the club, also been said our playing budget now allows us not to over financially strain the club. So, why is it that TL gets no blame here… surely he’s as culpable of our current as RM? After all, he is in charge of the budget and, therefore, paying the staff and HMRC.

I don't think anything in my post above or Blues exile's or UTB's is libelous (dissenting certainly). ( Incidentally,I don't think I'm the only one on SZ to be told ,politely,not to criticize SVC in my posts (and that if I did they'd be deleted,which they have).

TL doesn't put cash into the club - if Ron approves TL's budget and says he'll fund the difference between revenue and expenses - then what has TL done wrong? The same with Stan - he's not responsible for cash in.

In his last statment he said "Trust us.Trust me." In reply to that I pointed out that trust has to be earned.

IIRC it's just about a year or so now before those on the pitch protests during that Chesterfield game which I was over for.That lead to a new organisation of the club- On the field and off the field with TL coming in as GS,SVC as effectively a PR man for the new outfit and the 3 Amigos coming in too.However the person who effectively runs the club ,the Chairman ,was left in charge,which is why we're still at sqare 1 (and always will be while RM is in control of SUFC).

TL is in charge of day to day running of the club, which includes the budget. We are told we have a budget to work within our means. Clearly this is not the case. Hence TL also needs to be held to account. He is not the saviour we all hope or need him to be.

Not sure why you brought SVC into this. I’ve said nothing about him.

Think you'll find UTB made the original criticsm of him not me.FWIW i think his position is untenable,which means he should probably resign.I wouldn't be at all suprised to learn that he's thinking over his situation.Clearly he's not responsible for the current situation but there doesn't seem to be much he can do about it either.
