A message posted on their Facebook, especially one so carelessly worded and clearly libellous, was unlikely to have come from their CEO (even in a small family firm such as PG).

As it has been removed, and not replaced, I think we can draw a line under that situation unless the lads come out with blacked out shirts at 3pm. Can’t see it myself. Looks like a lot of nonsense to me, whatever the cause.

We (and Rons other businesses) appear to be living hand to mouth which isn't the most confidence boosting way to be entering into a project of the scale of FF and RH. The club’s main sponsor publicly calling the club’s owner “financially dishonest” and saying they withdraw all support… Not sure that’s nonsense, whether they’ve later deleted it or not.

It’s not nonsense as any decent brief would tell you. Ill advised maybe but to reduce it in importance to nonsense no.

My guess is that the logo will still be on the shirts today and once dressed there will be a further statement although probably not from the club. Or perhaps an embarrassing silence..

Once a certain stage is reached then there is agreement in place that this releases certain funds. How many stages this happens at/just the one stage/multiple stages, how much involved is unsaid and are questions to ask.
Relying on the “programme” progressing without delays though was arguably somewhat hopeful (but we don’t have the detail)

We've had 15 years of the same back and forth, absolutely no end in sight and no obvious right answer about what we as fans can do.
