PG Site Services have now deleted the post. Given that was the only announcement made on it (Chris Phillips just wrote an article based on the FB post), I wonder if this has been resolved and they’re no longer pulling out?

The amount of stories they churn out based off a social media posts is embarrassing. What happened to journalists speaking to the club, speaking to the sponsor. Journalism is shocking now, they don’t bother speaking to people, just Chuck out a quick article off the back of a tweet or a Facebook post, Insta story.

We have a thread in the pub forum called “cost of living increases” maybe we should ask a club representative to post the issues they have in that thread.

Surely it’s no surprise we may be struggling again? When the majority of the country is also facing issues with rising cost in every aspect of every day life.

I agree, but I think this knee jerk journalism is a product of where we are now. Had Chris not have published his 'story', many would be complaining that nothing has been mentioned by him despite the sponsor publishing a statement on their official Facebook page x number of hours ago.

Chris can win.

He did at least say that the club had been contacted to comment, showing intent to follow up properly.

People were discussing both subjects at length in both threads. As such merging made sense.

The sponsor issue might well not be heard of again anyway given they have removed their Facebook post.

The only definite live issue then is the HMRC bill and consequent embargo.

Well it's never dull. Clearly things are happening behind the scenes which are beyond my ken. But the vultures seem to be circling. Just who they are and whether the wounded animal will die is in the lap of the Gods. I'm going to be taking Stan's advice today. What he has done for this club in a very short time will go down in the annals. I'll get behind the team, enjoy the win (hopefully) then watch the ****storm evolve in the next few weeks.

Jeez, so would I and looking back that is small fry in comparison in what is happening now.

The tax man was always going to be gunning for the club seeing as their case fell flat before. Surely, as a business man he would have known this

I just don’t know what to make of it all and where it is all going and what is hiding around the corner.
People say when you are at rock bottom there is only one way to go but at the moment I don’t feel we have reached that and there is more to come.
I do however, believe the time to make changes is now and we have to seen to be a collective group.
