I understand some cynicism, but this is a good update.

Yes no completion date (learned lessons from giving one and then having it slip)

Yes, some final bits and pieces to do.

But I can tell you a big step forward has been made and Justin is pleased and cautiously optimistic.

DD is complete (some thought it never would be) and final agreement reached between consortium and Martins. That's a big barrier overcome.

It doesn’t say or suggest DD and any issues were completed today. However, it does say that issues are now all resolved.

It also says they are working to ensure the embargo can be lifted at the time of completion. Good news.

A good statement. All that can be asked for IMHO. Of course we would like the exact date but shortly will do I think given the above.

stop whinging. its a positive statement. everyone has been calling for an update. we get a f'ing decent update and you still arent happy. JR and the consortium arent going to give a date in case it slips a bit again.

Perhaps the outstanding legal issue isn't the consortium's, therefore their legal team won't be working on it and so there is no estimate for them to provide.

I think we need to be careful here that restlessness, concern and passion doesn't inadvertently come across as a sense of entitlement...

Because some on here, as the consortium have no doubt learnt, would hold them to that timeframe, however tenuous, if not met.
