SUFC: The Future The Takeover - Very very close.

Our hopes and visions for the rebirth of Southend United, plus any plans published by the consortium for discussion

If npower came to an agreement - I doubt it would've been to hold off until 'takeover complete' - it'd have a date on it - maybe we're passed that date?
They would then agree extension - zero chance of payment without the consortium in place and they would be kept updated.

Suspect these are different creditors not subject to prior agreements.

Is it possible we're accruing more debt, e.g. not paying enough for the elec that we've used past month or 2 and so they've had enough - at some point they've got to pull the plug. If we're keeping current and its historic debt I'd agree extend and pretend likely.

I drive past John Watson’s house every Sunday morning on the way to play football- maybe I’ll give him a knock tomorrow and ask how it’s going 🤔😁

After the EGM I recall this guy being identified , I think as Ben Jones, who was handling legal aspects for 'both' sides. Just wondering if anyone has any more info about him? ie is he just involved with the share issue or has a wider brief?

"Ben specialises in corporate restructuring and insolvency. His focus is on situations where businesses are distressed, providing strategic advice to boards and stakeholders."

Isn’t it this Ben Jones rather than the Simmons one?

With Justin coming back for the welstone game I guess he will be back a few days before that game .Then hopefully the takeover will go ahead before satadays game .

Has to be between Tuesday and Saturday surely - Tuesday because of the courts and Saturday because of Justin's arrival

Just need it done now. The new owners have had plenty of time to do all their homework.
Think if the 🐀 is scheming another cunning plan to wrangle a few more sobs out of the deal, they just might walk.

Been waiting for the RAT to call a press conference to say something like the last 1% was a hurdle neither side could agree on, so it's back to normal and how he did his best to accommodate their plans.
The hurdle being another unpaid bill he had stuffed down the back of his sofa :Frustrated:

I would like to think that Martin will make sure it all goes through okay or else the council will suddenly have a change of heart re Houses at Fossets farm!
I think that the MP getting involved and increased pressure from the council will make sure this deal goes through!
