For those interested in stadium upgrades, this video from Ipswich is interesting. It sounds like they have similar challenges that we will face with upgrading Roots Hall, plus all the Premier League requirements on top.

A few more lamps on the floodlight pylons would be good. The standard of the current lighting is poor although some of the smaller clubs in this league have similar issues.

That fungus that was growing on the wall of the gents in the east stand has now gone and the toilets are being repainted. It should look good in a few weeks time.

Is anyone (@Poyntless )aware of what needs doing to get the North West corner up to scratch? It seems the most obvious area to bring back into use, not least because it has its own turnstiles and a big exit ramp. I seem to recall that the toilets always were a bit basic in there but other than that and perhaps catering (which could be a mobile van) is there anything else?

I believe that is the plan and away supporters to be housed in the North West section and north returned to home fans

That’s good news, do you know what work is needed to make it happen and what the timescale is?

I would be fantastic if it could happen before the Daggers game on Bank Holiday Monday which will be another big crowd.
