3 hours work at most. Possibly suited to someone who wants to get into media. I'd imagine it would involve possible instant replays etc plus advertising pre match and at half time

I note that the job description doesn't mention video at all, it just requires them to update "scores, match time, team line-ups, substitutions, and other relevant information." Is there a chance therefore that video replays won't be a thing? Or will they be handled by someone else? (It is, to be fair, no doubt a whole job in itself)

When Philips sponsored PSV their sound system accompanying the Jumbatron was amazing. I swear you could hear the noise half a mile away

I reckon it will be a fully functioning LED screen, capable of showing media (video too) in HD.

Something they do here when a goal is scored, on the scoreboard they show those gifs of the goalscorer that the players pose for at the start of the season (or when they sign). Quite fun to see if they did a really goofy pose!

PSV is Philips-owned club, hence all the sponsorship

I doubt very much if we will be showing instant replays. We may have a scoreboard capable of replays but I would be amazed if the club had the infrastructure to facilitate that.

For those interested in stadium upgrades, this video from Ipswich is interesting. It sounds like they have similar challenges that we will face with upgrading Roots Hall, plus all the Premier League requirements on top.
