Thanks Kev - but is a new manager needed?

It's time to put on makeup
It's time to dress up right
It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight

There’s definitely been a mood swing towards change that’s for sure. This has been a pub topic for sometime now and even some of Kev’s staunches supporters are turning against him.

Everyone has their own views but another disappointing home performance in front of another decent crowd was there for all to see.

That being said they will probably go and beat York away next week 🤯.

I think if we don’t pick up wins against Braintree and ebsfleet over the Xmas period then the management can have no excuses - barring Ralph who is a cracking player the vast majority of this squad are Kevs targets and it’s most definitely his team
It’s also his style of play and his stubbornness to not be more attacking at home , the the results firmly sit on his shoulders

Our home form has simply not been acceptable and we have been a poor side to watch this season , again I can’t recall many league games this season I’ve enjoyed

For the majority of Kev’s time here the club has been an absolute circus, with even this season being massively hampered due to another embargo. For me, he deserves the rest of this season, and the opportunity to recruit freely in the summer. I feel only then we can fully judge him, as it would be pretty unfair if he was sacked without ever being able to manage at full capacity and implement his entire plan. If after that, we’re underperforming next season, then there’s a conversation to be had and Kev can have very few excuses at that point. But overall, Kev’s done an unbelievable job under the circumstances and I know people want success and get frustrated after games like yesterday, but it’s also worth remembering just how bad things were at this club.

I’m still voting Kev In but, the consortium made a massive mistake giving the 3 amigos a 3 year deal. I think the consortiums hearts ruled their heads. Not a good business move as it’s virtually financial suicide to sack them .
The consortium must invest in the playing side this summer. What we have got are no way good enough to get us out of this graveyard league.
The football is dire, the tactics are boring and negative. Kev and co are not the management team to get us back in the league.
Of course this is just my take on things. And I don’t mind taking stick for my views, some will agree and some will disagree. But this is a forum for all views. Rant over for now.

This will be the first transfer window where we can actually try to get the players we want rather than those left over. Kendal seems to be a good start, so let's see what happens before we start wanting the management changed
We don't transfer windows in the NL like in the EFL

I'm bit on the fence here...... yes Maher ball isn't great to watch and maher tactics are quite predictable and negative at times but I believe he deserves better backing from the owners. Since COSU have arrived Maher hasn't been backed to the required level we all hoped for but in there defence they only just bought the club officially in the back end of July so I will give them bit of leeway where that is concerned but we need to improve our recruitment process Interms of quality of players we require. Interms of Maher he has underperformed with what he currently has, the tactics are boring and predictable which is making us very easy to play against...... even with this squad we shouldn't be near the drop zone with only 3 home wins this season. Personally I would give Maher to the end of the season and review his position then. We probably aren't going down but not getting play offs either, managerial change might be bit pointless now and we might not be that of attractive proposition currently due to our league position and majority of decent managers prefer summer transfer window first before season starts. Suck it up for time being with the option to review maher position towards the end of the season is probably the best solution.

Doesn't matter. It's harder to recruit players when the EFL transfer window is shut unless COSU are prepared to pay over the odds as clubs won't want to lose players which they cannot easily replace.
